The night we have all been building towards is almost here. On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the inaugural Jamhuri Africa Campus & TVET Awards gala will take place at Nairobi, Kenya, Nairobi. Here is what you need to know before you show up.
Venue & Getting There
Nairobi, Kenya, one of Nairobi's main arteries. It is accessible by:
- Matatu — any Harry Thuku Road route drops you near the mall.
- Boda boda / Taxi — search "Nairobi, Kenya" on any ride-hailing app.
- Personal vehicle — ample parking available on site.
Schedule for the Night
- 6:00 PM — Doors open. Welcome drinks and mingling.
- 7:00 PM — Ceremony begins. Opening performances.
- 7:30 PM onwards — Awards presentation across all 21 categories.
- 10:00 PM — After-party and closing performances.
- 11:00 PM — Event closes.
Dress Code
This is a gala night — dress accordingly. Smart formal or African formal attire is strongly encouraged. Think suits, evening gowns, or elegant African print. Let's make the room look as extraordinary as the talent we are celebrating.
Ticket Types
- Regular — KES 500: General admission, access to the full ceremony and entertainment.
- VIP — KES 1,000: Priority seating closer to the stage.
- VVIP — KES 2,000: Front-row premium seating, exclusive lounge access.

On the Night: Voting Closed, Winners Sealed
By the time you walk through the doors on 30th May, public voting will have closed (voting ends 24th May). The results will have been tallied and sealed. You will be in the room for the live reveals — which means every announcement is a genuine surprise. No leaks. No spoilers. Just the moment when a nominee's name is called and their life changes.
