The Jamhuri Africa Campus & TVET Awards 2026 is the country's newest platform dedicated to celebrating exceptional talent across entertainment, media, events, and humanitarian service. After months of nominations and careful selection by the organizing committee, 89 nominees across 21 categories are now in the running — and the public gets to decide who wins.
What Is the Jamhuri Africa Campus & TVET Awards?
Jamhuri Africa Campus & TVET Awards was founded with one mission: to shine a light on the remarkable individuals and groups that make Kenya's creative and charitable ecosystem thrive. From gospel artists lifting spirits every Sunday morning to event planners turning ordinary halls into unforgettable experiences, the Jamhuri Africa Campus & TVET Awards recognises them all.
The awards are organized into four broad clusters — Humanitarian, Entertainment, Events, and Media — each containing multiple specific categories.
When and Where Is the Gala?
The gala night takes place on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Nairobi, Kenya, Nairobi. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the ceremony runs through to 11:00 PM. Expect live performances, celebrity appearances, and of course — the big award reveals.
How Does Voting Work?
Public voting opened on 24th April 2026 and closes on 24th May 2026. Every Kenyan can vote for their favourite nominees. Votes are purchased in bundles starting from as little as KES 10 for one vote, up to KES 1,000 for 100 votes. Head to the Nominees page and cast your votes today.
How Do I Get Tickets?
Tickets are available online right now. Choose from three tiers:
- Regular — KES 500
- VIP — KES 1,000
- VVIP — KES 2,000
