I deserve the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award because I am transforming my expertise in law and compliance into an innovative business addressing a critical environmental challenge in Kenya.
As Founder of Green Bin Pros Ltd, I identified a gap in the waste-management ecosystem: businesses pay for waste collection but often lack visibility and verifiable evidence of where their waste ultimately goes. At the same time, existing garbage collectors need stronger linkages to verified recyclers and resource-recovery facilities.
I am building Green Bin Pros as the compliance and traceability bridge between waste generators, existing collectors and verified recyclers. Rather than creating another conventional waste collection company, our model connects collectors to responsible recovery destinations while enabling businesses to demonstrate environmental compliance and trace their waste to its final destination.
I am also leading the development of Green Bin OS™, a digital platform designed to track waste from generation through collection to recycling or final recovery, generating credible compliance and ESG data.
My entrepreneurial journey demonstrates how women can transform professional expertise into innovative solutions for emerging African challenges. My ambition is not only to build a successful company, but to create a scalable model that strengthens existing waste ecosystems, advances circularity and creates opportunities for women and young people within the green economy.
Through Green Bin Pros, I am championing a transition from “collect and dump” to “collect, trace and recover” proving that responsible business, innovation and commercial opportunity can grow together.
