About Hokela Interactive Africa
Hokela Interactive Africa uses technology to solve a very practical problem for African business: helping companies see what is happening on the ground and get more work done across the last mile.
Across Africa, millions of retailers, sales representatives, distributors, and consumers sit outside the systems that businesses traditionally use to understand their markets. For many companies, especially those operating in general trade, the reality on the ground is still managed through phone calls, WhatsApp messages, spreadsheets, and disconnected field teams.
Hokela is changing that.
We combine people and technology to help businesses reach, manage, and understand the last mile. Through our platform, businesses can deploy trained field agents, assign and manage work, map outlets, track activity, conduct retail audits, support activations, collect market information, and see what is happening in the field as it happens.
Our technology is designed around the realities of African markets—fragmented retail, distributed teams, different levels of connectivity, and the need to turn field activity into decisions that can be acted on quickly.
We have deployed more than 15,000 agents and mapped more than 300,000 retail touchpoints across six countries, showing that this is not simply an idea or a technology prototype.
What makes Hokela different is that we do not see technology as the end product. We use technology to connect businesses with people, organize work, and make the last mile more visible.
We put the right people in the right places, give them the tools to get the job done, and give businesses a clear view of what is happening on the ground.
We believe that is what meaningful digital innovation should look like—technology built around real people, real businesses, and the realities of the African market.
