Eng. James Mwendwa Kitavi founded Kiseki General Suppliers Limited in 2023 to provide Environmental sustainability solutions geared towards the Circular Economy and ensure zero-waste-to-landfill. Kiseki operations are anchored on the Extended Producer Responsibility where it provides waste buy back solutions and utilizes Reverse logistics return the packaging waste as a resource to the producers who re-use it. This reduces the need to extract virgin resources to manufacture the packaging materials.
The Kiseki solutions ensure environmental conservation through collection of the various wastes, creates economic benefits especially to the 150 direct employees who are over 70% women and 90% youth, as well as the indirect beneficiaries. Moreso, the solutions enhance public health with a reduction of product counterfeiting as Kiseki collects the packaging waste. The services also reduce production costs for the producers, enhancing their sustainability.
